CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFESSIONAL (PART TIME)
Our site is exceptionally clean and secure, and we are looking for a customer service-oriented individual to join our team part time. We are looking for someone who has a friendly, positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers, and is interested in working in both the office and through the storage property. The position offers approximately 12- 20 hours per week plus additional hours for sick and holiday relief. The ideal candidate should be available for shifts during our hours of operation – 7 days a week from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm.

- Job Title: Customer Service Professional
- Location: 1331 McKeen Avenue, North Vancouver, BC
- Position Type/Hours of Work: 12-20 hours per week plus additional shift coverage
- Salary range: Starting at $20/hour
- Language of Work: English
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work legally in Canada
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right storage solution for their needs
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service while leasing units within our facility
- Provide efficient, courteous customer service in person, over the phone and by email
- Manage customer accounts and take and process all forms of payment
- Regularly communicate company policies and procedures to customers
- Excellent communication and grammar skills, both written and oral
- Communicate and work efficiently within a small team and work productively alone
- Light cleaning duties
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience with Sitelink (self-storage software) is an asset
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Written and spoken proficiency in English
- Own transportation is preferred, as site is not on a bus route

- Anticipate future obstacles, analyze situations and ensure work is done right the first time

- High ethical standards, respect for equipment, procedures and safety requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, energetic
This role is a 100% on-site role. BC Transit offers partial commute services that require an additional 15-20 minute walk to reach the worksite. Access to a personal vehicle is recommended.
